I think the bed and fender need to be lined up to get a better idea of the outcome. I sort of like it. Have you thought about welding the bedsides to the cab? That might make the tiny front part of the bed disapear into the cab making it look longer even though it is shorter

The truck will be at the ST show, so come out and see it. A lot of things will be temporary given the amount of time left before the show. I am not sure if I will even have the bedsides mounted up, but if they are it will be very temporary. The bedsides and the fenders are just resting on the tires in those pics.  It is definitaly different stylling, but it's not a H2 front end, lol!!!

i guess the way to make it look right would be to take a normal 6 ft. bed and take the same from in front of the wheel as behind it, but it's the owners ride and his dreams your just makin them happen, can't wait to see it at severed.

Honestly I like it. And I like that it's done with IRS. I've seen a couple S10s done that way that still had a solid axle and links. The links end up pretty short and the driveline seems to end up at an extreme angle. I'm not sure on the way the rod end is attached to the spindle up front though. I would rather see a smaller Uniball welded in like the spindles Max makes for them.

what are you not sure about with it? i like it because I am not welding to cast. Just open up the taper to a straight hole and throw the heim in it, couldn't be easier. It would have to take a HUGE hit before anything would happen.

I'm just not sure because of where it sits on the rod end. It doesn't have a flat surface to sit against on the spindle like a bolt would. The rod end is kind of tapered. I would be a little concerned about something wearing and letting it work loose some time down the road. I would probably like it better if the spindle was threaded for the rod end, with a jam nut on the back side. A more traditional way of fastening a rod end you know? I'm not concerned about it's strength, just the possibility of it working itself loose.

Yeah, I thought about that and originally had a washer inbetween there. I took the washer out because the hiem seems to pull into the bottom of the spindle perfectly. Also those nuts are all metal lock nuts, and I don't know if you have ever tried to put one of those on a hiem, but the thing was almost impossible to thread that far down the threads. It is very, very, very tight. I popped a blood vessel or something in my hand cranking on them. It shoudl be just fine, but I guess I won't really know until it gets driving again.

I don't really know, since I haven't done it either. The metal lock nut will probably never come loose.
