Home depot shoppers beware!

campy don't worry when the lowes opened here all the mom&pops stores were all scared but when home depot opened most of them were running big adds about service and selection but people will get tired of the pisspoor service and go back to the mom and pop stores

the little hardware store here in town has more employees working then they ever have in the 60 odd years theyve been there

it just amazes me that 2 80,000sqft stores have the exat same thing

We have a Lowe's and a Home Depot across the street from each other..... and you think to yourself.. "why?".. then you also realise that we also have 7 Waffle Houses, 3 Wendy's, 4 McDonald's, 2 Krystals, 2 Taco Bells, 3 Krogers, 2 Publix, along with damn near everything place you can think of.... so you start to just give up on asking why...

I like local hardware stores, cause, like you said, they know what they're talking about and care about your business, only draw back to that is that most of their prices are outragous. I hate Home Depot, I don't shop there unless I absolutely have to. You can never find anyone, and if you do, they are NO help what so ever, and they all act like they're pissed off at the world if you ask them for something. Atleast at our Lowes, the people are nice, always helpful, know what they're talking about, and you can always find someone. But I also worked there when I was younger, so I know where just about everything is anyway.. lol

man o man.. just pn panama city beach, we have a lowes and a home depot across from each other.. now food joint on the beach there are 3 mikki d's, 1 wendys, 2 burger kings, 3 taco bells, 4 waffle houses, 4 mom and pop waffle shops, 1 arbys, several independents store, and there is a also a local hardware store that does tons of buisness, that just on the beach you go into town and lowes and HD are across from each other and you can literally spit between all the mikki d's and hit the next one and the other restaurants as well... it is funny how they have crammes so much into a area that is not that big in size, and you dont even want to talk houses, they are squeezing 2 and 3 story house with 2,000 plus sq. ft onto lots that are like 75 wide and 100 deep and the price for the lot alone is crazy i have seen some as high 300,000 just for the lot... the price people will pay just to live on the beach and close to the water... lol

yea no kiddin'. I couldn't stand living that close to someone. Bein' so close you can hear your neighbors takin a piss... hell no, and I'd slap the crap out of the first person that told me I can't be grinding and carrying on in the garage or shop late at night
