Info to learn the process/materials for hardlining hydraulics...

ok I have a 64 caddy fleetwood... so its a heavy car... running 24 volts... up and down no hopping or 3wheeling... where do i locate parts? and info on what to use etc... thank you in advance...

Hardline - Stainless 3/8 .049 thickness, it's expensive because its stainless...and also seamless (you don't want a seam which will split when flaring). Fittings are a nut and sleeve.  We sell all these things and have them available to ship.   You'll need a nice bender and a good flare tool...the $10 Harbor Freight ones won't work, you need a good one like a Rigid.  I can walk you through the process, but it takes patience and a LOT of trial and error.  You need to remember to put the fittings on before you flare and bend, and also you need to know how much room you have to get a tight bend to where you can still fit on the flare tool.   If you have any questions, feel free to hit me up.

24 VOLT HOW MANY BATTERIES? IF ITS 2 ITS GONNA DRAIN THEM FAST.... I RAN 48 VOLT ON MINE BEFORE I PUT THEM FAGGOT BAGS ON IT AND IT WAS STILL TO HEAVEY TO JUMP. IM GONNA RUN IT THIS TIME WITH 72 VOLT TO THE FRON AND 36 TO THE REAR. AND IM STILL DONT THINK IT WILL BE ENOUGH TO JUMP THE FRONT... AND THATS IS WITH HALF INCH PORT IN A CCE FAT BOY 4 PUMP SETUP   MINES A 61... THEM CARS ARE CLOSE TO 6000LBS  TAKES ALOT TO MAKE ONE OF THEM HOP.  ANOTHER THINGMAN MY FRIEND HAD A 67  THAT HAD A 2PUMP WITH 4 BATTERIES 24VOLT TO FRONT AND 24 VOLT TO THE REAR. IT WOULD BURN MOTORS UP QUICK BECAUSE THEY TUTNED FOR EVER BEFORE IT WOULD GET LIFTED.    TI WAS DONE RIGHT TO (CLARANCE WALKER DID IT)  ID SHOOT SOME POWER TO IT. THERES NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT

Although he said "no hoping or 3 wheeling"... I agree. I would throw at least 36 volts for that size car. If it were my personal car I would run 48 volts. 24v seems a little low for a big arse car like a cadi.

 be at least 48 volts on that car. my honda with 36 isnt all that fast. accumulators slow it down a lot. hardlining isnt too hard. i did my honda by myself for my first time. check out layitlow.com theres  couple threads over there that discuss hardlining with some tips and tricks
