---------------------------------------------Originally posted by LaidNeonalmost done with the tube bridge work. have a few areas that need to be filled & then we can call it complete. we have a few trick ideas planned so stay tunned---------------------------------------------that rearend chunk is kind of unsightly to me. I don't know if anyone has ever done it or even wanted to or even if it would be a good idea but couldn't a sheetmetal rearend chunk cover be made to cover up the rear that you could take off so you still have access to the chunk? I never thought of anything like it before but that chunk made me think of it. don't make fun of me if my idea is dumb please, Im just trying to give some input to make it look as good as possible. all the work looks awesome so far. any pics of the finished transition from the stock frame to the new rails? that was a big difference in size. what about some 2x6 rails for that transition? I want to do a newer crew cab when I get some cash. I have an 08 crew cab shortbed and it will be the victim but that will be a while before something like that happens. good luck with your truck build man.

no worries bro.........my wife is the one who wanted the notch/bridge exposed. It may look unsightly now, but wait til its  done. Potter still has to add more bars to the bridge. We haven't filled in the gap yet, but we plan to plate it. once its done i will post up some pics. I think 2x6 would be too large for my frame rails.  My fellow Aftermath member has notch cover that acts like a hood/trunk, what ever you wanna call it, to cover his notch.

not the notch/bridge work man, the rearend chunk on the axle. I was talking about that. the notch/bridge work looks awesome but the rearend takes away from how nice it is, ya know?

Tonight we added another tube to the bridge before we started mocking up the shocks. Took awhile to find a good spot, but we got it done. Still not finished with the bridge yet..........Should have the truck ready to start on the front end by the end of the week
