black canister on passenger side of firewall below wiper motor (?????????)

what is it and can it be removed? If it is removed will it effect anything? Do I need to plug any of the hoses or anything? Is this the charcoal canister?

took mine off add it fine ...it has something to do with the vent from the tank ...carcol canister

i was wondering the same thing. i think mine has a vacuum line on it. not sure what to do with it. should i plug it our just disconnect it?

I have been wondering the same thing. Its the evap canister if I am remembering right and I want everything gone that I can get away with taking out while I have my toy apart for the new engine.

take it off and chase the line back to the tank. where it hooks up at put a filter of some sort on there. thats it. 

I put mine in the trash dont need it just follow the line and cap it off
