Can one of you guru's tell me if I can run a 265/35-22 on the front with a 4-6 drop on a 97 Tahoe 2 wheel drive?

i think u can. i saw a 96 chevy x-cab with a 4/6 on 22's with the same size tire

Thanks for your help...Does anybody have a definate answer? Please dont say bag it...I have owned 3 bagged vehicles and 1 bagged/bodydropped...I just dont want the hassle.

Yes you can definately run that size! I have them on my 96 with no clerance issues!

I have a 2000 Dodge Ram with the same drop and tires and I don't have any issues. The size of your tire is 29.3" overall so measure your drop and go from there.

With the BOSS 335 22x9 did you have to run a spacer with them on your Tahoe? Was curious cause eagle wheels here said you did to run those wheels on that body style chevy with 5 lug bolt pattern. Thanks.

Thanks.---------------------------------------------I didnt try it without one so I don't know if you have to but I put a 1/4 inch spacer in the front because they told me I needed one to clear the center cap!

Thats what they are saying with those wheels to fit our trucks, thanks. Now the 6 spoke like that in a 24 does not need a spacer i found out, but not wanting to go bigger then 22's. Getting hard to find our lug pattern in most wheels unless you order billets.
