Use a relay. 12v 30amp 86- remote wire 85 and 30 ground87 park brake wire that will eliminate running a switch if you have to.

I have a Periphial TR7 wired up to my Alpine. Alpine's have 2 wires, 1 park brake & 1 foot brake. The TR7 goes through the switch sequence everytime I start my car.

i know very few pioneers will work with switch unless you solder or move some pins around. alpine takes 2 switches, nesa you can just ground, jenson and duel 1 switch. clarion i am not sure about.. one thing to remember, this happened on a pioneer at work, say to put 12volt on parking brake wire didnt work so we put to ground and works fine.. good luck
