Dumb question, who would want to read an entire book off the computer?

My son wants to read this book but it is an ebook. And you can't print it after you buy it. Who would want to sit in front of a computer to read a book? How asinine.

some of my kids homework fo rhis history claass is done on the computer cause they dont have a book for the class, has a cd that we have to load in the pc then he has to read it that way to get the answers to his worksheets

i just think that todays ways of teaching are kinda lame in how they do some things...

Saves money on books, and space storing them. Plus the kids backs not having to lug all those heavy books around. They are easier to update. I can see lots of advantages to doing it that way. But kids are going to have carpal tunnel at 22 and be blind by 30.
