ok i have been email back and forth with this lady about the truck a few times.. this is the last email i got from her.. sounds iffy alittle what do you guys thing about her response.. if i get a check that i can cash first before i get anybody anything than its all good right



"hi thanks for the response, i have no problem with the price. i reside in manhattan, NY. the company i work part-time are responsible for the payment of the car. the payment will be made to you by certified bank check. the check will be sent to you directly. i will make arrangement with an auto shipper here in new york for pickup of the daully upon clearance of funds.
when you have received and cashed the check at the bank, the shipper will be coming over to your place to sign all necessary documents on my behalf then pickup and transport the car to me.
I can't come over to inspect the car at this time due to the fact that I'm so busy. I really want the car and i want to pay for it asap! before someone else.
Please write back to me if you are ok with my explanations and I shall await your address and ur phone number so that the check payment can be mail to you asap!

sounds like one of those nigerian scams... but since she is from the US it might be more legit.


might try to get her business info and do a lil research to see how long its been around and how long she has been empolyed there.?

dude I have gotten like 5 of those same letters for shit I posted on craigslist..just ignore them..

from what I hear she will send you a check and then tell you that she cant make it down and return her check. well by the time the check clears your bank it's bad and she has allready cashed yours or she will want a money order from you.

Although, you could always cash her check and when she wants her money back, tell her to get stuffed.

thats the thing though... her check is bogus... your bank will cash it...run it through all their channels a week or more later it comes back to them and the suck teh money back outta your acct because the check was no good. and by this time the shipping company has already driven off with yoiur ride.


i would get her to send the check and just keep it.... see how many of them you can get from different places.
