88-98 chevy 3/4 ton upper arms

so i know that the upper Control arms off of the 88-98 C/K lne of GM pick-ups are tube arms, im wonder if they have any other advantages over a set of aftermarket upper arms as far as laying out on 30" or so tall tires? i have 22"s on my burban right now but might want to go bigger in the futrue (im not bodydropping this one) so would need t obe able to lay out on taller tires. also what kind of balljoints should i use?

they are the same as stock 1/2 ton. so there would b no advantage other then appearance. u will also need to weld and re drill 2 of the bj hole and use a 1/2 ton bj.
