just a little re-working/relocating & it's fine. i think i just made the bolts for the clamps go a little lower on the frame, instead of smack in the middle.
ditch it
Frame on the ground = ebrake

Frame on the ground = ebrakedont, sometimes a valve can leak up and bring enough pressure off your frame to roll. Just spend the time and make it work, just a little extra insurance.
I made mine work on my 86 and i am glad i did. I ditched it on my 92 and i wished i hadnt now. its nice to have and very worth the little extra work it takes to keep it.
If its a standard I would for sure keep it....automatic...I would ditch it.
Don't ditch it, thats hack. Make it work and it will be there for you should all else fail.
i just cut mine and welded the bracket higher up on the crossmember......
not hard to do and deff worth keeping
I just tack welded the bracket to the frame, as opposed to bolting it on.

So getting rid of ur e-brake is hack? So I guess tossing your airbag for a billet steering wheel is hack?....Shaving your doorhandle's is hack?...Shaving mirrors is hack? No rearview mirror is hack? I had to tub my firewall to an extent to where the is absolutely no room for an ebrake...Should i put it in the center console Camry style?
