gas door mod

has anyone seen a gas door that is not shaved but is magnetic or has a spring to hold the door shut?toyota has a key and i want to shave key hole but not door.any cool ideas?

I had mine rigged up with one of those push in to latch magnets you find on the billet gas doors for fullsize dodge trucks, no pics tho. I eventually shaved it off.

Look for the ones that hot rods use that are spring loaded. They sit flush(with alot of modding) then when you press on it it pops up. I have always liked those buti have dealt with classic cars most of my life also.

where would i find the push in and pop out magnets or something similar?

Not to sound Ghetto but ive had some buddies go to Lowes or Home Depot and get the Sping mounted magnets that you use for Cabinentry and they work good Plus their cheap as shit
