I'm looking for the best tool for cutting sheet metal. I'm not too concerned about cutting flat sheet metal where a shear would work great, but something more like wheel wells where it's not flat and you don't have much space. I've always used a sawzall, but it's just so bulky and I don't feel like I have as much control as I'd like.
Would something like a small air saw work well? Any suggestions? I see some people who have perfect cuts and I'm wondering how they acheive this.
ThanksAaron

I like using a small airsaw on stuff like that. It burns through it quickly, and the finish on the cut is nice.

FOR A FLAT SHEET OR LIKE CUTTIN APART BODY PANELS? FOR FLAT SHEETS WE CONVERTED A TABLE SAW TO USE A CUT OFF BLADE WORKS AWSOME! FOR BODY PANELS AN AIR SAW IS GOOD OR A CUT OFF WHEEL

deff use a small air saw.....You will have alot more control for a straight cut and the panels wont flap around like when your using a sawz-all
if you dont have an air saw and are cutting a shape from a flat sheet you can also use a jigsaw with a metal blade.

yeah, those little body saws are awesome. its basically a small handheld jig saw with a metal cutting blade on it. they work nice. not the fastest, but small and fairly precise. and no hot sparks that can make problems.
