I used Dupont fabric and vinyl paint on an old seatbelt and let it sit outside in the sun and snow for several months and it never turned colors or faded. It's worth a shot and easy to spray! You can get a can for about $7, it's well worth it! I just used it recently and am I happy with the results!

Those Julianos belts look pretty good. IF I were to dye my factory belts..how in the hell do I separate them from the plastic/retractor mechanism..I've looked and tried several times, but I didn't want to break anything..

you cant really take them apart without having to sew them back together. they are not made to be taken apart because they are safety devices and are not suppost to be tampered with.

From gm directly black was not avail. for the 88-98 series. Those trucks came mostly with red, blue, tan and grey thats all i have ever seen.I think some one in the aftermarket may make something that might work.

That's what I figured..well the reason I'm needing to take them apart is to paint the plastics..anyone ever do this?? All my other plastics are painted, and it will look kind of weird if the seatbelt plastics aren't.. I've been browsing through profiles just looking at seatbelts lol..
