changing out a dash

ok so i have been thinkin about installing a newer year model dash in my 86 dually. i was thinkin like a 93 or 92 year donner . has anyone done one or attempted it.will it fit. or need to get some measurements from someone with the year dash i would like.

Ive seen a 98 done in my buddies square body but its long since been sold..
