Had this problem on an Xb, the light sockets in the rear tails weren't making a conection and when I pushed the brake pedal then the dash would light up. Check your bulbs, I also agree on checking the connections coming into the lights. Somethings not right if wires are melting. I'd probably stop the putting fuses in and waiting til they pop method of checking for issues. Maybe use a multimeter? I'm not real good with electrical either. Good Luck!

ok so i couldnt find the problem with the wireing so i just disconnected the wires that kept frying and ran a wire off my running lights to the passenger side where the wire kept blowin the fuse somehow. i will have a certified electrician look next week.

I had the same issue right after my truck got bodydroped. I took it to a mechanic that specialized in electrical. It was only $150 to fix everything. Somethings are better left to the pros. Sure beats paying $150 for 36 months. Or worse yet getting another truck with more expensive problems. Could always top the cake and have a lemon and payments?

I have a buddy of mine with a mazda as well with the clear corners. Problem was one of his bulbs from the right side was touching ground...
