Some decks you can't just ground the wire on. My roommates had to have a switch on that wire so it could be switched on & off to make the deck think the E-Brake was connected.
x2, i tried just grounding the wire, did'nt work, just ground to a switch and you gotta flip it every time you start the car, but i think my indash dvd was the best money i've ever spent
