ok i found a place that would do it. they said they send the axles up to moser . they gave me a ballpark of 300 bux to do it does this sound fair?

thats 300 to narrow the houseing plus the cost of sending the axles to moser? if so sounds about right getting a rear narrowed is usually 600-1000 for everything done

One of the axle shafts is shorter than the other. You should be able to narrow the long side and put the shorter shaft in it. And narrow the short side of the housing the same amount you narrowed the long side, and now the long axle shaft will need to slide in far enough that the thicker portion of the shaft will be inside, and that can be resplined without having to get a whole new shaft made.

good info seth thanks
i called moser and they said it was 110.00 to do the axles plus the shipping.so he would be charging me roughly 200 bux to the the housing
