Ernie had a lot of help from a lot of friends over the course of one week to get this thing totally painted, new interior, new bed, new audio and all the glass work. I can say that I was there and helped in this along with several others. Pretty much we started over to build a bad ass mini from what it use to look like! Was nice then but way better now! I can not tell you how many DR. Pepper bottles and Cigarette packs were laying around the shop, we were on caffine overload! I know David was working with a severely tore up Back on the audio. Chris layed out the original paint, Toby, myself and Ernie worked on the odds & ends and the small details as well as the reinstallation of everything. It truly was a group effort and Ernie could not thank everyone enough.

I can not wait till Blake starts rocking this thing to shows! He's almost of age now. It will blow peoples mind again! I miss my friend :(

Damn man, its a small world. David Dennis is my really good friend and he talks about what you all did to Ernie's truck in that week of time. David is also the one to help me on my interior with building the fiberglass console and speaker box.... I had no idea you even knew him.

not to be a dick to kerry, but i think if someone made a dash that used to fit an old ass truck into a s-10 i think someone can make the same dash fit a mazda, same idea cutting it up and welding it back together until it fit, its not like any of those steel dashes came from a mazda.

and i think they are all dope, way to go guys.

^^ Yea but how is a custom dash in an S-10 gonna show what it will look like in a Mazda? Different door panels, different length steering shaft, different curve for the windshield. Hard to get perspective on what it will look like in your truck if the pic shows it in a different truck.

Like the Neon on here with the old school dash. That will look a lot different in another vehicle

Ernie's truck is still one of my favorites.

yeah but if someone post a custom dash in a mazda, and then someone else use that same dash in there mazda then its not very custom anymore now is it? that why i hate the comments peole left about my dash in my s-10 " might have to use that in a future project".... i hope no one ever uses my idea in their truck or anyone elses truck they work on. i made my dash for my truck, and i dont want to see anyone else with it, if i do i might go crazy and tear theirs up. i hate seeing the same "custom piece" on two different trucks. thats not custom at all.
thats why i didnt post my one off dash on this thread, i dont want someone to try to copy it.
