I didn't ask this over on the fordtrucks thread but do those lincoln lowers use a strut bar or something to keep them straight? Can't wait to see the kit done.

the lowers are from 70's lincolns,rancheros and I think torinos and yes they come with strut rods but I'll be changing that.

im doing a 72 and gm cliping it...that set up sik bro...do any of u guys know where i can a grille for the 72 without paying an arm and a leg for it

What year is that Crown Vic from? I can't find one around here that is in one piece. It seems like every yard here breaks them down into pieces.

What clip you use depends on what engine you decide to run. A Ford engine has a front sump usually and needs a Ford clip.

I am working on a tube arm setup for these as well as one for Rangers that uses tube arms and has a bolt in crossmember. This seems to be the best way to go when doing bags.

Anybody ever had any luck modifing stock beams? one fella told me to take em to a welding shop and have them made into drop beams, sounds kinda skechey to me. and I got a friend whos a killer machinest who thinks he could machine some.I like the front clip Idea but I also like the challenge of working with the beams. Hard headed I guess.
