ok, after 3 years of trying, i think i finally have my bedcover sold. It's fiberglass gaylord over the rail. The dimensions are appx. 78x64x4 and i'm guessing it weight about 100 lbs. Who do i need to get to ship it? I tried ups and it's not bad for a 100lb package, but that did'nt have any place for me to put in dimensions. Have any of you guys ever shipped a bedcover? Please someone let me know, i'm going nuts. I don't want to overcharge the dude, but i don't want to lose my ass on it, either.

jumbo, you could ship it in a box. call or go to a local truck accessories shop and see how they ship them. or call gaylord. or go to UPS, fedex, or usps and ask ?s till u annoy them into an answer.

Hey Jumbo ship it via Greyhound. Its Cheap! Just wrap it in as much cardboard as you can find then wrap it in stretch/shrink/saran wrap and take it to them. They go everywhere and it may take a few days but I bet they do it for $100 or so.

yeah, that's how i shipped my bumper cover, it was $30 cheaper than ups, and it got there in a day and a half. But i think tihs is going to be too big. like i said, just the bedcover is 78x64x4, and it's not like i can throw that in the vibe and haul it to the nearest shipping agent, lol.

gavin, it's going from my house (you know where it is, lol) 72823 to tampa, fl 33609. I called fedex freight and ups freight today, and since it's going residential to residential, they won't ship it on a truck, cheapest way with those guys is 2 day air, and cost from both of them was $520. I just laughed and said thanks, have a nice day. Gavin, if you can help, please, please, please do so. I've been trying to sell this damn thing for almost 4 years and finally got a dude that sounds serious about it. I had a guy call me last wednesday morning and ask about it, sed he could pick it up, but i think i kinda scared him off when he said "do you still have the bedcover for sale?" and i replied with "I SURE AS HELL DO!! WHEN DO YOU WANT TO PICK IT UP?" dammit. And i checked grayhound (now jefferson lines) and the website said they don't even go to florida.
