Got a bit of a problem brewing.
92 crew cab chevy dually, 3 inch spindles, 265/35/22's, I've got the back bridged and 4 linked but the front is not laying out with the lower control arms at full flex. The front edge of the frame is about an 1 3/4 from laying out. I thought for sure the round body chevys laid frame with 3 inch spindles. I know I can z the frame but I'm bodydropping the truck too with a Cummins swap so I want to keep as much hood clearance as possible. Crossmember is not hitting the ground either btw.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks,
~Terry
Im not sure on what limitting your front drop info. not yo specif. but check out this guy's pics. on his control arm's let me know what you think V ~ Obsession
Thats exactly what it was I figured it out right before I came and checked this, instead of notching my control arm tho I just opened the frame up a lil more to give it room to fold up further. Only thing keeping me from completely flat now is the tranny xmember bolts =)
Thanks for the quick response and the link, I can now see a good way to notch for tierods because of you =)
