protction light on amp

when I turn my cd player up the protection mode light come on and goes off when I turn it down.

What is your amp running(mids and highs or subs)? Does it play at low volume and shut off at high volume? If it is mids, disconnect one speaker at a time and check it, you might have a bad speaker. If it is subs, check the ohm load, and make sure the amp is stable at that load. Or it could be a bad sub.

the amp have two door speakers on each side the ohm load is 2 ohm on each side, I unhook the door speaker and left the rca on the amp and turn cd player and the amp came on and I turn the cd player up and the protection light came on, when I turn it down the protection goes off,I wounder if it is the cd rca inputs

Check your RCA Cables, and your Power and Ground Cables on the amp.

more then likely its a ground issue i c it everyday
