Clearing 07+ Headlights Removeing Reflector

Does anyone has a how to on how to remove the Yellow reflector on the new body trucks? Ive done a couple 05's-06's havent even attempted to do these yet. Wanted to do them on my Duramax... Anyone done them yet. ive only seen one truck and it looked sick...

i would think it would be like doing any headlight really. When i opened up the headlights of my neon to paint them, i pre-heated my oven to 250 & then stuck the headlights in there for 10-15 min. Obviously i watched them like a hawk so they wouldn't melt & then i just used a flat head to get a corner loose & then pried the 2 pieces apart with my hands.

yeh, I just wanted to see if anyone has done the new lights yet, Ive heard they were alot harder to do then the older lights. I couldnt be wrong...

getting ready to my 06 Titan, like Dan said preheat the oven to 250 and put them in for 10 minutes no longer. Below is a link that a guy off of the other site that I go to sent me. paste it in your browser, it is step by step with pictures.

Yeh hahha, I thought someone would of been the ginnie pig and tried it already heheheh....

i havent done it yet but its the same as any other...heat it up, pry it open and then just make sure the silicone stays warm so you dont crack the housing..

ya i wanted to do them for my 07 caddy head light, but im way to scared to do them. there like $1000 A PIEACE!

My boy bought his 08 Sierra headlights on ebay for around 200 for both. They cost over 300 ea. from the dealer
