i might be forced to rent an apartment...

if i do. where can i work on my truck? i.e. new motor body drop... i know it might be impossible... but how many ppl out there live in apartments and can keep up their minitruckin' hobby?

thanks,

I lived in an apartment a while back. It was hard enough to work on my BMX bike without getting in trouble. They where very strict about working on cars, but it kept the place nice. Well, as nice as it could be.

lol... i guess im screwed then.. hopefully i can rent a small house until i finish the truck. a driveway is all i need... minitruckin is my life id hate give it up...

i was thinking of like a bigger storage building, but no electricity... or a friends garage, but your friends always start being dicks when your ride is in peices...

my complex doesnt really give a shit what you do here. we've got a big ass parking lot around front that folks use to work on their rides all the time. you can do the normal maintenance stuff but id think theyd draw the line if you where out there swapping a motor or doing a bd or something. lol but if i need to, a buddy of mine has a full blown shop about 15-20 mins from my apt that he is nice enough to let me use on occasion. hell thats where im starting on my new truck at.

I live in a trailer park and I park in a parking lot. Not apartments but same lame situation. I just have to save a few extra bucks and send my truck out to get worked on. It sucks but not worth giving up just because of where i live.

in this area you can buy a house cheaper than rent!!!!!! my buddy is paying 1200 a month for rent..... i know, ridiculous but you have to think, i live in new orleans and most people are renters now so they can get 1200.... my house note after a sky high state apointed house insurance and flood policy is only 1111.86

i know your not suppose to talk finances with people but dont tell my mom, I DO A LOT OF THINGS IM NOT SUPPOSE TO DO!
