it's regular paint with a flattening agetn in it, you still need to prime it and paint it like regular.
i'm thinkin about doin that two has anybody used this stuff ??? and how much to do a single cab stepside chevy
look around on here, a guy just sprayed his s10 with the hot rod flatz black. he should be able to answer your questions. ill see if i cant find it for you.
aliright russel man thanks ur da man oh but i just wanna do one color
cool thanks guys any suggestions on a primer to use? and how much paint to use? its for a single cab longbed silverado
Make sure u mix the sh*t outta it other wise you will get patches and streaks where you have more of a the flattening agent in it kinda like when u dont mix resin well u have some spots that get rock hard dry and then u have wet spots that never dry.

If your wanting to do a 2-tone keep in mind that hot rod ftatz is a single stage wich is meens your going to be left with a wicked ass tape line.......
Your best bet for a "flat" 2-tone would be to simply spray your top and bottom colors in base coat,.....and clear coat them with a flat clear (or just add a flatining agent with the clear...either way)
just my.....good luck either way!
