has anyone replaced the 150 switch with a 175 or 200? I'm not asking about the warranty just if it has been done and how it worked?

well the comp is only rated to 150, so if you do it and it blows up the next day you are shit out of luck....

I needed to bump it up to 200off, but Viair told me I am risking the life of the compressor, especially filling an 8 gallon tank all the time.. but it's been pumping perfect without ever missing a beat.

If you use a good product beyond its limits, then you risk damaging that product. Unfortunately, not all products are built well, so many times - they cannot be punished for long. VIAIR pumps can be overdriven, but its not recommended. -Just like a 150 PSI air tank is hydro-tested to four times its rated pressure, but that doesn't mean you should pressurize it to 600 PSI.

Glad to hear its working' out for ya'...

My favourite is when people complain about things breaking when they overwork a product over its intended purpose.

Forgot to mention that after hearing that from customer service @ Viair, I stopped using it, and will be picking up a dual pack thats made for 200psi.........
