Go to Napa and ask them for some 5/8" ID hoses with some tight 90s in them. You might have to get two and use a coupler, but they will have something to fix it. A 97 Saturn PCV hose has a pretty tight 90 in it, and is 5/8" ID.

the pics are hard to tell how much room there is. u can do like seth said, maybe not just steel, perhaps some copper tubing. u can use short peices of hose to conect what u have to a curved or bent peice. u should also be able to find some long hose for heating and change it up and reroute everything. i wouldnt mess with were it comes out of the fire wall. there are too many moving parts on the heater box. my 4.3 sets lower in the middle of the motor right there so i had just enough room after replaceing the hose i tore. there is a slight chance you can bend ur heater tubs some , but there is a chance of messing it up.

i think james is saying - why dont you loosen the clamps on both hoses, push them back toward the firewall, and run them both under those relays... the relay to the left in the pic has a big ass "hole" under it. just run it through there. you can even get some copper elbows from the parts store or even the hardware store if it has to make a 90 degree turn! see my really professional illustration below. follow the red "diagram" for the routing path!

well the problem I see with using copper line, is the diameter....unless I could use coupling hoses so I could put copper lines in...but I think Im just gonna say f*ck it....Its a tight fit in there as it is tryin to get the lines off.. id have to unbolt the bodymounts and jack up the cab and all that bs....i'll just bring a blanket and get a space heater it doesnt get THAT cold down here, just sometimes it can dip into the lower 30s at night.

they make copper connectors that have a 90. i dont see why you cant shove those bitches back toward the firewall and pull em through with some of those insanely long ass needle nose pliers.
on another note, they do make electric blankets that plug into a cigarette lighter!
