parallel link and sides?

does a parallel link even need to be thought about hitting sides? is it possible, or just not ideal?

if you use heims on the axle side of the bars it will hit sides just fine. the biggest problem i see is the possibility of a bar hitting the side of the frame. i would also use a watts instead of a panhard.
