hood springs

has anyone found a solution to hold the hood up after removing the hood springs to clear 22's? I have seen small gas shocks, is there a kit you can buy?

nope.. but snap on or any tool truck makes a nice ajustable hood prop for 35 dollars and it can double as a billy club to smack people with too LOL

I used the gas shocks from the rear hatch of a suburban.
