New madzda ?s

i got a new mazda, used block good compression, rebuilt head..It gets spark and fuel and the timing looks dead on.. it turns but doesnt start..Spits fire out the carb after a few turns..Whats the deal?

sounds like the timing is off maybe?? i know when i had that problem with my chevy it was due to the firing order not being correct

it may be 180 out.
