the rear end i put under my truck cam out from under a truck just lik ethat one...only a differant color...it is around 8 1/4 inches shorter than the stock dually rear end from under my 84... im sure it would hit the stock leaf springs on that truck if you run 22 inners but since i built a link setup i was able to work around it

Does anyone know the back spacing of the inner/front wheel of a 22. I stopped by a local truck shop and they had a wheel on the floor and I measured 11" or so with just sticking a tape in when no one was looking. I have been reading through old posts and I guess I am going to hit the junk yards to find a dually rear. I'm going to static drop it for now, but when I do bag it I don't want to move the gas tank and plan on running a parallel 4 link outside of the frame rails. Is there anything I should look out for? As long as it's in the 90's it should just bold in right. LOL

I used a rearend out of one of these on my dually. I'm running a 22" inner and my outer clears my stock fenders by like a 1/4 of an inch. I trimmed the lip a little bit and don't have any rubbing issues. Are the control arms different for the DRW and the SRW? I noticed Trev said in his first reply that he could just bolt up some rims and adapters and roll, I know on my dually when I put the SRW hubs on the front I could only turn like a half turn with the wheel.
