I have a 1996 f350 single wheel 1 ton. I am trying to convert it to a dually. I pull a good size horse trailer. So i need the dual wheels on back. I bought some wheels and front rotors off a 1996 f350 dually. I went to put the rear tires on. They hit the leaf springs. Is the rear drums different form a sing to a dual wheel. Do i need to get rear drums off a dually model. Help me out if you can. Thanks and thanks for reading my post.
dont know much about fords but you are prolly gonna need the rear end
I was wondering if they make an adapter for it. I do not want to have to go get a rear and put it in. That is alot of work. I already have put the rotors on , and got the front wheels on. Anybody else no of an adapter source ?
yes there are adapter kits hit trevor (lockone)up we can get them for you. they come with or with out rear fenders and they make them look factory.
We offer the DRW adapters for your truck. The front kit is $310 with all hardware include and the rear adapter kit is $400.
