It's nice to have when TIG welding or MIGing in a tight spot where you don't have much room to flip down your hood.
well i know with mine there is some times it has burned threw the 1/4 so i guess its burning hot anuuf for what im using ...i am sure ill never have to weld anything over 1/4.. plus the only thick shit i ever been seeing geting welded to anything bagged is for drag plates and i dont need them so im fine

so if i turn the heat up i can stitch weld everything? just making sure i read that correctly
why would you want to stich everything? just curious
if you read back on page like 8 they state you can stitch everything and it will work just as good
Has anyone got any pics of welds or techniques they use using a mig with flux core wire? I know theyre not as pretty as regular mig and tig. I've got a flux core mig and I'm getting pretty decent and making welds that look ok. Arent too great because I have a shoddy 90 amp Harbor Freight flux machine.
Deric with flux core push your puddle dont pull it! Dont be affraid to turn the heat up a bit. I dont use it at work or at home so I cant post pics for you.
there is a MIG weld i did. I have only picked up a welder about 6 times. Still learning and trying to get a hang of it. I do circles or e's however you want to say it. It's a Millermatic 100 ? Don't know for sure, it's nothing amazing but I can use it whenever I want to practice really and using it more and more.
These are both done with flux core. I actualy like flux core on thicker metal since I only have a 140 amp. And it does frame work fine. I also pull my puddle.
I won't use flux core on sheet metal tho. Just burns it up.
