What makes air bag setups faster? Is it the type of valves and how big the lines are or what? Id like to update mine to be faster.
pressure in tank, size of valves and line
Bigger valves and lines would make it faster but depending on how much you play with your switches you're gonna want to make sure your compressor(s) can keep up with feeding more volume into the bag all the time
The type of air you run makes a difference, too.
Helium, the smallest stable molecule, moves through your system faster, so for the same amount of pressure you will lift and drop much faster than standard air or nitrogen.
Hydrogen is even smaller and faster, but unfortunately is highly flammable, and extremely expensive to boot, so it's not a good idea unless you want to destroy your truck in a spectacular fashion!
Larger valves and lines only work to a point, also. Slam bags only have a 1/2" port (or dual 1/2" ports if you go with HE or XS series bags), so at some point you won't benefit from larger lines or higher flowing valves.

Thanks for the help guys. But ya right now I got 2 Viar 480s but I think I might add a nitrogen tank sometime. You can do that right? Run air comps with a nitrogen tank?
yeah. since your viair leader hoses have check valves already, you wont have to add any.
I run off of just nitro with a 12 gallon. I'm over my switch happy days. I have the smaller 255 bottle and it just lasted me a month. I'm on my last 300-400 psi.
