Machining Dimple Dies

will a set that u buy dimple .25" steel?

No, they will break or deform. They are only recommended up to .125" steel. You really don't need dimples in .250" steel..

Doing .250" defeats the purpose of dimpling the panel as mentioned above.

Heres a couple pics of the pair of 1.5" dies I made and a piece of stainless steel that I dimpled.

I never thought about machining them for resale but I have had a few people interested in them and I may look into it futher now.

If you do I would like 1.25" and 1.75" because no one else makes those sizes.
