22re wont run right

has been running fine until tonight.it acted like it ran out of gas earlier (gas hand dosnt work) so i waited on someone to bring gas,fired right up after 20 or so minutes,ran fine to get me home,now i go to leave again and it will barely run.thinking fuel pump goin out or dirty fuel filter.anyone have this happen before?or have any ideas of what the problem is.thanks in advance

how many miles are on the truck?? my toy did this once before when the timing chain took a crap on me.. or it could simply be the fuel filter but that thing is a bitch to change if i member correctly

Sounds like when you ran out of gas the pump
sucked up some trash. Id check the filter closest to the tank & see if that makes a difference!

hook up a fuel pressure gauge so you know for shure that its a fuel problem, then check filters then your pump

just sell it and buy a new truck...

found the problem.had a leaking water line from the engine.the intake elbow was dry rotted a little and letting water into the intake.all fixxed now.was a new one on me.wont be sellin this one.
