cash isnt always safe either, my buddy steve sold some wheels cash, and the money was fake...two weeks later my buddy tried to sell his ps3 on craigslist. some guy offered to buy it so my friend said hed meet him at the mall. On his way to the mall he stopped at office depot and picked up a counter fit pen and sure enough. the money was also fake.

GUYS!! the best way to do it is have the persons bank put the money right into your bank account.if its a large amout of money, they should have a bank account.no honest man keeps Gs just sitting around their house.and banks dont deal with phony money. you cant go wrong. thats how i sold my 04 f150 from cali to a guy in MI. .$27000 from his bank into mine. hassel free transaction.this was a mautofied deal also. hopes this helps.

I sold my dually to a guy in New Zealand. I told him i need cash and he had to go to 6 diffenent banks in new zealand to come up with the 13g's. When he arrived at customs in LA to pick up the truck the nice guys at customs checked my cash for me. Never ever sell your shit to anyone that is willing to pay you more than you ask for then have you give him the difference back it is always a scam!

Well I can tell you this Lance...that we didnt get screwed! I wasn't givin up that truck until I knew that check was clear. But to be on the safe said we'll except cash(take it to the bank and have it checked be4 we send the truck) or money (and we wont send that until it clears 2. Come Monday morning I'm calling the District Att. and gonna get this as$ caught!!!!

I posted the same thing in the misc area on here recently.. Happens all the time. Dude on here tried to screw me. I know someone who has worked for Bank of America 42 years and has seen it all. One guy lost 220,000 in a scam - I only take Paypal verified accounts now......and I know there are scams on there too... There is a lot of fraud on sites with classifieds.... Google it and there is warmings on gang of sites.... Late
