hub pilot style is this the kind of wheel i need to be able to put the 8-10 adapters on my dually? and how can i tell by looking at a semi wheel if its the one i need or not? thanks guys
It wont have conical lug holes.
does any one have any pictures of what to buy and what not to buy?
a stub polited wheel like you dont want with have a beveled counter sunk edge around the lugs for the lug nuts to align the wheel when you tighten... a hub polited wheels with be flat and smooth around the lug holes
i sure trevor has picks but sorry i dont..

OKCDerek got it right.
The stud piloted wheels actually have 2 lugnuts per stud. One is a lugnut/stud that hold the inner wheel on and acts as a stud for the outer wheel.
All of my adapters use a hub piloted wheel, however there are some companies that make adapters for stud piloted wheels.
thanks for the info.....i was wondering about this too....but it's gonna be a while before i can get some semi's
