^^^^^ What Seth said. It is just a bigger pain in the ass. That is why so few of us actually do the swap. Nothing really wrong with a carb anyway. They worked for years before Fi was readily available.
Not all 90-93's were injected( just in case you didn't know ). My 90 model was carb'd just the same as my 86. I think they offered them both ways through those years. If not, they swapped to all fi after 90...do not know for sure.
Don't waste the time and money with fi carb it and be done. Unless your going to put a turbo on it fi isn't werth it.
Ok thanks guys, I plan on doing a swap myself on my 1987 mazda b2200. Anyone got a fuel injected motor that they would like to sell? And Andy your right on 1990-93 arent all fuel injected ive seen a 1993 that was carbed and a few on a couple of sites that werent fuel injected. Thanks for the heads up though.
