Mud flaps with 22"
Ok a couple of people have told me to put some mud flaps on my truck to hide the 2 different size tires in the rear. Im really not fellin that but at the same time i like the idea of not being able to see the tires from the rear. Has anyone done this and do you have pics?
1st time I have heard of it. Are you going to bag or drop it??
I plan to bag it but not right now my wife will kil me she's been after me to go on vacation. ive seen them on a normal dually it looks ok i guess not something i would do not sure how it would look with 22's but i do like the fact that it would hide the 16 inner you know. Maybe ill pull one off my bro's peterbilt and hold it up to it and see how it looks.
By the way your white grill looks sick i think im gonna steal your idea if you dont mind.
I don't think you will hardly notice it, even without the mudflaps. Once you lower it, even some, you'll hardly be able to see the rear tires from the back. You can always add them later if it does bother you, but I would think even the mismatched tires would look better than mudflaps.
i know in the state of texas you have to have mud flaps by law with tandom rear wheels... if i remember right here in texas the mud flapp has to be no more than 8 inches from the ground. most guys dont run them because the truck is bagged and doesnt sit heigher than 8 inches from the ground. I have had shops give me a very hard time when trying to get inspection because of no mudflaps and i try to argue with them that the damn truck is not taller than 8 inches then they wanna play stupid and tell me the truck is too low to inspect..
Im sure in cali they have a similar law of probably worse.
^ yeah texas sucks the 5-0 has pulled me for no flaps and i said well look how low the truck is they are gonna drag off. then they said even if the flap is a couple inches you need them i think its stupid
Negatory...at least not that I've heard of.
No one bothers us about nothin in NEBRASKA.
We always take the mudflaps off and use them for wall decorations.
