Tranny problems

Ok i was on the freeway yesterday and as soon as i reached 70mph the truck jerked and the mph guage jumped to 100 and back to 70 it was really quick and now it wont shift into o/d WTF. Has anyone had this problem please help me b4 i burn it?

maybe a bad speed sensor or a solonoid? not real sure on the new trans stuff, so just taking a guess. good luck with it, brian

But why would it do a quick sputter and not shift into overdrive. if i had to quess i wouold say its a shift module?

a shift module wont screw up the speedometer, but a speed sensor will. it will also tell the computer it is not ready to shift into overdrive because it isnt going fast enough. you need to put it on a tech 2 and read all the data to see what is going on. later, brian

Problem fixed it was a damn fuse the whole time i thought i checked them all but i guess not. Thanks for the help.
