Where to buy parts

Where is the best place to buy an altenator from. I want one that is gonna last a long time and put amps. id like to spend between 100 and 150. Give me you veiws on parts stores.

umm...id just go with whatever parts store had a heavy duty alternator for the cheapest price!

Well Advanced had on for 80 dollars refurnished and a lifetime warranty. it only put out 105 amps. is that good or not? I can put it on but dont know if thats enough cause the truck has A/C and off road lights.

What kind of truck? That would be ALOT for my LUV since I think it comes with like a 45 amp(55 with AC) I think...

sry its an 88 s-10 4wheel drive 4.3. funny thing is i spent about 400 fixing all the small stuff before I moved up here. about 30 miles the volt meter drops low. lol. besides that she runs better then a new one lol.

What would be good amps for one to put out. will one off a newer 4.3 fit it or not.

50-60 amps would do it...

so 105 amp would be good then.
