no leader hose???????

i just got a viair 450; would it be bad to run this thing w/o a leader hose? it's used and did'nt come w/one.it has a quick connect on it with 1/2 line off of it.

that shit will likely melt

i kinda figured that. i'll just order one.hell with it. my little 350 gets hot, but the mismatch dc2000 i have is junk and i gotta get it off soon.thanks

yeah, get a new leader hose!

Viair's have a check valve built into the leader hose. Without the check valve, the air will leak back through the head of the compressor.

Just use copper pipe..but make sure you do add a check valve like illblazer said.

NO IT'S ALL GOOD ABOUT THE LEADER HOSE BOOBOO. I JUST DIDN'T NOTICE TILL AFTER YOU GUYS LEFT BUT ITS ALL GOOD. I'VE GOT ONE ON MY 350 I CAN SWAP,BESIDES IT'S GOING IN THE SHOP WITH MY OLD TANKS ANYWAYS.ON ANOTHER NOTE MY BO-BO DC 2000 DOESN'T HAVE ONE AND IT IS LEAKING AS WE SPEAK. AND IT DRAWS OVER 30 AMPS WHEN RUNNING TOO. IT'S GOTTA GO.
