Z 'ed FRAMES

Hey guys i have a 70 c10 and was wanting to build a full box frame how ever,due to money issues and being a rookie at this i don't think thats going to happen.So i think i'm going to z the damm thing,Could you guys either post some pictures and give me some pointers on my ambitions.And one more thing i went and bought a 3200HD Lincoln welder is that going to do the job,and yes i do have the bottle of gas thanx

My 78 is z'd and it's the same front suspension. I'll snap some pictures tonight and post them up.

I didn't do the work on mine but here's some pics of it. I think it's about 2.5 or 3 inches but not sure. You can also section the front crossmember and get it to lay frame all the way. i plan on sectioning mine just to run bigger wheels later on. Here's the pics.

I was wondering if someone would notice that. The allignment spacers kept falling out and coming loose. I put grade 8 bolts in there and the washers. It sucked getting the allignment close. I had to remove the entire arm to remove or add a washer and put it all back together again numerous times. Works great though.
