im runnin all dot brass i bought them from the local parts house since i had an account there and all mine are 1/2

ppl go with nickel for the finish.. its almost a chrome look without any rusting.

the nickel also i think from my experience have less leaks, they just push together so its easier too.

i used dot ptc because i heard there quality because of being dot
