It looks like a bunch of Sqrs are being built. I still have a chance to get one. Checked it out last night.

Its an 87 cab and chasis with a bed. it has a small block, what tranny would be in that thing?

TH400 most likely. I don't think the 4L80E came into play until '89 or '90.

if its auto, If I was to guess i'd say SM465 thats what my 86 and 79 C&C had.

^^^Good point. I was making the assumption it was an auto. The SM465 is a defintate if it's a manual. The NV4500 wasn't used in the 1-tons until '92 (shatnerbox crew cab era), IIRC.

4L80E hit the scene for '91 just FYI suckaz

If it's a manual, easiest way to ID the SM465 is it has those twin PTO covers, one on each side, look the same.

prob 200-260 range. my gm crate motor for my 85 was 260. the gm crate motor for my 92 burb was only 200 but had higher torque

Throttle body 350? 210 HP. Torquey, but low HP.
