I finally got to test out the famous myth that when your mount your valves on the bag it is faster then when on the tank.
Well I think this will speak for itself,
That is a Diff of 2"
Everything the exact same 100PSI same length line same fittings same valves same valve orientation same everything!
I will be the first to admit I was not expecting this dramatic of a result.
So....myth
:haha:
that wasnt a myth, its simple physics, the less something has to travel the faster it gets there.....

I didn't know it was a myth, i thought it was common knowledge
But cool project
yeah, that was not a myth. simple fact of the law of physics. not trying to be an a$$, but duh...
It was still a good test bro, I like the mythbuster effect
was there people that auctually thought that it was the other way around?
lol

Well I never knew that it made a difference, never really cared though. But thanks for the info, I may move my valves closer now.
i for one would like the see a gauge r&r study on your test.
Did you only do this 1 time each way?
because you need at least 10 times each way, and at least 3 operators (people pushing the switch) for it to be considered an event.
Sorry, i get caught up, i test shit for a living.

i am concerned though about the image.
notice the chain rapped around the legs of the cart?
Why is it in the "left" picture, the chain is already in a lowering or, falling position?
But we see in the "valves on bag" study, that the chain is obviously still moving upwards?
We need a high speed camera and some video mang.
I'm not aruging any point, just having some fun.
