Slams blown due to over arcing?

That's a drastic angle on that bag. You might have issues with the center ring no matter what bag you use. Everyone has their own opinions about bags. I love the ride quality of Slams and have NEVER had an issue with the center ring.

I dont know what else to do because they are aligned perfect when compressed. I could probably come out off the frame some more so that the bag is not so close to the pivot points of the lower but only so much before it hits the spindle.

Im also liking how that black escalade was setup recently with a front cantilever. That would give the lift im getting with half the bag angle.

its funny because last year and the year before everyone was anti firestone, and all about slams.

I have the old slams on my truck and never had a problem, and they have the cracks in them. I have the newer slams on my car, never had a problem on those either. If I was going to build something else, would use slams again in a heart beat.

Slams are still the best in my book. You can't expect any bag to work correctly in that angle. Your lucky you used a slam and not any other bag. It's like asking an 200psi compressor to run 300psi, then complaining when it burns up. I'm not sure what you can do to remedy the problem. Maybe a contilever like someone said above.

After looking at your pics in your profile and the lift you are getting I think you are expecting to much out of the bag. try moving the bag closer to the spindle, or not airing it up to full lock. That might help...

ya dont know why guys lock up their ride and b*tch when the blow bags,,but ya change the bag mounting point thats way to much arc on that bag

i got slams on my fullsize chevy n they r in tha same angle n i havent had a problem outta them but im runnin 175psi
