Used is good, but like all used mechanicals, you never know what your going to get. I lucked out with mine and if you find one you might as well. Another thing, Does your transmission have a short shaft or long shaft. I would assume that it is a short like mine. Just be sure that these things will match up when doing so and if you buy one new, you need to take these things into consideration.

those fancy paddleshifters they now have to mount behind the steeringwheel for automatics can be programmed to run the gearvendor in secuense with the normal automatic gearchange when you use the autobox as a manual .
they have two sets of buttons on set for one two three and one set for the same set of gears in low high .... giving you a 6 or 8 speed gear box .

they now have them with a liniar actuator too so they can operate the older non electronic automatics
